Unlocking Optimal Health with FIT GPS & Personalized Supplements
No two bodies are exactly alike — so why settle for one-size-fits-all supplements? At The Fascia Institute and Treatment Center, FIT GPS (Genomic Performance Screen) reads your genetic and biochemical profile and turns it into a targeted, science-backed supplement plan built with VitaminLab custom formulations.

01 · Why It Matters
Why Personalized Supplements Matter
Personalized nutrition consistently tops the list of health trends — and the science has caught up with the hype. A 2025 review in precision nutrition describes how individual differences in genetics, metabolism, and the microbiome shape the way each person responds to nutrients — which is exactly why generic multivitamins so often disappoint. The International Society of Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics now recognizes genotype-directed nutrition as the most individualized tier of care.
FIT GPS removes the guesswork by using real data from your body’s unique profile. That means a supplement regimen built for your needs — delivering:
02 · The Foundation
FIT GPS: A Science-Backed Supplement Plan
Many people waste money on generic supplements that may not provide real benefits. With FIT GPS, we take a data-driven approach — testing key markers such as inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, and metabolic function. Recent work integrating genetic, metabolic, and microbiome data shows why this kind of profiling produces smarter recommendations than population-wide guidelines.
From these results we build a plan that:
· Targets deficiencies affecting energy, recovery, and wellness
· Supports musculoskeletal health, joint stability, and fascia recovery
· Enhances metabolic function, cognition, and immune resilience

03 · The Root-Cause Science
Genetics, Folate, and Why It’s Personal
Our own research is a clear example of why genetics matter for supplementation. In a 2023 paper in Heliyon, our team proposed that common variants in the MTHFR gene — a key folate-processing enzyme — can drive the disorganized, painful connective tissue seen in hypermobility. A follow-up study in ACR Open Rheumatology found that roughly 85% of hypermobile patients tested carried at least one MTHFR variant.
The takeaway: the right form and dose of a nutrient — methylfolate rather than folic acid, for example — depends on your genes. Learn more about Folate-Dependent Hypermobility Syndrome and the role of methylation in soft-tissue health.
04 · Long-Term Health
How FIT GPS Supports Long-Term Health
For people with hypermobility, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), or anyone seeking overall wellness, FIT GPS offers a real advantage. Instead of guessing which nutrients might help, testing pinpoints the specific deficiencies and imbalances that may be driving pain, fatigue, or limited mobility — the same whole-body thinking behind our Hypermobility & EDS Clinic. This precise approach lets us:
Recovery & Energy
· Optimize recovery — addressing nutrient gaps that impact muscle and joint function
· Support energy & focus — targeting deficiencies behind fatigue and mental fog
Inflammation & Mobility
· Reduce inflammation — dietary and supplement solutions to lower inflammatory markers
· Improve mobility & stability — strengthening connective-tissue health with personalized nutrition
05 · Quality & Safety
VitaminLab’s NSF Certification: A Commitment to Quality
Your VitaminLab formula is made in a Canadian facility under strict Health Canada regulations and an NSF GMP-certified manufacturing process. Every formulation is tested three times — when raw materials arrive, during production, and in the final product — using internal and third-party microbiological, physical, analytical (ICP-MS, HPLC), and identity (FT-IR) testing.
The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) certifies top-tier facility management and product quality across the dietary supplement industry. You can view VitaminLab’s GMP and dietary-supplement certification on the NSF registry.
