Dear Patients and Colleagues,

After almost eight years of dedicated service at Tulane University School of Medicine, I am writing to announce an important transition in my medical practice. In July 2024, The Fascia Insitute and Treatment Center will be moving into a private practice model. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the Tulane community, and I am deeply grateful for the relationships I have built, the knowledge I have gained, and the countless patients I have had the opportunity to care for during my tenure. This decision has been made with careful consideration and a commitment to providing more accessible healthcare.

At our new practice, we are continuing to advance musculoskeletal treatments. Our focus on injury techniques, including hydrodissection techniques, regenerative orthobiologics treatments, and non-narcotic pain medications, has yielded remarkable results. In particular, prolotherapy and the hydrodissection technique, which I have had the privilege to pioneer, have significantly restored fascia and muscle health.

Furthermore, we have established one of the few comprehensive centers in the world dedicated to hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos syndromes. Our center is dedicated to restoring patients to everyday functional lives. We are actively investigating the underlying causes of hypermobility, while also addressing co-morbidities such as mast cell activation disorders and dysautonomia.

Transitioning to a private practice model that retains an academic partnership with Tulane Medicine will enable us to continue to contribute to developing the future of medicine, and ensures our patients retain access to the best advances in healthcare. Additionally, this model will facilitate further development of our techniques and allow us to train others globally in implementing fascial care and hypermobility protocols.

Through this transition, we are committed to providing outstanding care to meet the needs of our patients.  We are grateful for the patience and understanding of our patients and network of healthcare professionals who have collaborated with us throughout the years. We will continue to work with our current networks as we embark on this new chapter. We invite you to follow our website and newsletters for the latest updates.

We will begin seeing patients at our new location in July 2024.
