Chappell Evans is a seasoned healthcare professional and BOC Certified Athletic Trainer with more than a decade of experience in sports medicine, clinical administration, and athletic rehabilitation. As Director of Sports Medicine at The Fascia Institute and Treatment Center, she works alongside Dr. Jacques Courseault and the multidisciplinary care team, bringing expertise in clinical care, program development, manual therapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Chappell earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in 2011, gaining hands-on experience in football, baseball, and rehabilitation under the mentorship of respected athletic trainers and physicians. She completed her Master of Science at The University of Memphis in 2013 while working with several Division I athletic programs, including women’s basketball, tennis, football, and volleyball.
Her professional career began at Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where she worked with multiple sports teams and was recognized as Support Staff of the Year in 2015. In 2017, she joined Tulane University as Assistant Athletic Director and Director of Sports Medicine, leading initiatives in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and student-athlete wellness.
In 2023, Chappell transitioned to Saint Louis, MO, where she managed clinical operations for pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Nepple at Washington University and Saint Louis Children’s Hospital. She also contributed to community education and research on athlete safety, injury prevention, and performance.
Now at FIT, Chappell brings her leadership, clinical expertise, and passion for patient-centered care to a team dedicated to advancing fascia-focused treatment and sports medicine innovation.
